So You Think You’re Called to Preach, huh?

Jesus left us with the Great Commission:

“Go into the world and proclaim the good news to every creature.”

What is the world? And what did He mean, “Go into the world?”

The world in this chapter means “kosmos”- the whole mass of men who are alienated from God. These people have harmonious arrangement, constitution, order and government that the born-again believer must infiltrate for the Glory of God to shine throughout the earth.

Statistics Say:

Only 17% of born-again believers will enter into the 5-fold ministry legally (I will explain “legally” later). So what about the rest of us? The other 83%. Where are our ministries? What are we suppose to do?

Most Christian’s ambition is the microphone. But God can get a jackass to speak for Him. God wants his people in the middle of the “kosmos.” i.e. Politics, Arts and Entertainment, Sports, Media, Education and the Business world.

When I was a young boy, I remember watching a basketball game on television.  I would envy this one guy who had the best seats at every major sporting contest. He was tall with a rainbow colored Afro. He held a sign that read John 3:16. This man knew the best spot to be seen by the camera. His ministry was in the sports world.

Where is yours?

Unfortunately, we have many members of the Body of Christ who are illegally in the pulpit. They went there . . . just wasn’t sent there, by God.

Are you in the 17% or the 83%?

Definitley in the 83%. The biggest freedom I’ve had is realizing I wasn’t called to preach, but to go into the “World” and open up many businesses. It’s there that I found my calling. Good post!

That’s great Ron! Awesome to see you’ve found your purpose in life. We need more business owners and entrepreneurs out there! :)

I know I am called to the 17%! Confirmed by ministry leaders and prophesy. In addition, the fact that I will not be happy doing anything else! NO doors open for jobs or anything else!
